ION 101
An ion is, in basic terms, nothing more than an atom or molecule that has gained or lost an electron.
Positive Ions – Ions that have lost an electron (carry a negative charge) are called positive ions.
Negative ions – Ions that have gained an electron (carry a positive charge) are called positive ions.
Within the air there is a balance of these “ions” but unfortunately today’s industrial society increases the level of positive ions which causes tension, irritation and depression.
Where are IONS found?
IONS are everywhere. However some geographic places have an abundance as shown by the (IEI) Ionic Energy Index.
WHAT IS THE IONIC ENERGY INDEX (IEI) ?
The Ionic Energy Index (IEI) quantifies the value of ionic energy found within a given place or item. There are three key components to receiving benefits from an ionized garment:
-
The larger the level of ionic energy present, the greater the benefit.
-
The larger the amount of surface area covered or in contact with the IEI, the greater the benefit.
-
The longer the amount of exposure time, the greater the benefit.
WHY IS THE BIO-ELECTRICAL PROCESS SO IMPORTANT?
We are all bio-electrical. Our hearts literally run on a bio-electric current via the autonomic nervous system. IonX uses the body's own temperature and perspiration in order to benefit the wearer. This is not only therapeutic, but revolutionary!
